We are always excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office. During this appointment, Dr. Peden will do an examination and discuss his findings. We know your time is valuable, so if treatment is necessary, we can expedite treatment by taking diagnostic records. These records include X-rays, possibly photos and impressions for study models that are necessary for developing an appropriate treatment plan.

At the conclusion of this initial examination, we will address the following questions and answer any questions that you may still have.

• Is there a condition that orthodontics can address?
• Is treatment needed now, or should treatment be delayed until appropriate growth, tooth eruption or other factors have occurred?
• What treatment procedures will be used to correct the problem?
• What types of appliances are best?
• Do any permanent teeth need to be removed?
• How long will treatment take?
• How much will it cost?
• What are my payment options?

After assessing the orthodontic records, the final treatment protocol will be decided. Dr. Peden will stay in touch with your other dental case providers during treatment so as to give optimum care.

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your first visit.

      .Any panoramic or full mouth x-rays taken within the last six months.

      .If you have any orthodontic insurance, bring your insurance card.  By providing this information , we willbe able to give you an estimate of your costs.
